DuPage boasts of one of the best education systems in the country. To that end, we recognize that children come to us with various backgrounds and experiences. Some are ready to learn at high levels and others may need additional supports. We know that all children taught at an early age usually benefit in the following ways: improved social skills, less or no need for special education instruction during subsequent school years, better grades, and enhanced attention spans. Some researchers have also concluded that young children enrolled in pre-school programs usually graduate from high school, attend college, have fewer behavioral problems, and do not become involved with crime in their adolescent and young adult years.

We at the DuPage Regional of Office are committed to supporting Early Childhood Education in the following ways:

  • Early Childhood Network
  • DuPage Early Childhood Collaborative
  • Family Engagement
  • Parent Roundtable
  • KIDS Assessment
  • Parents as Teachers
