The purpose of the Community and Family Engagement area of service is to support and advance effective partnerships between schools, families, and communities to improve student achievement from the cradle to college and careers. Learning begins long before a child steps foot into a classroom. It’s a journey that begins at birth and continues in the home, school and community.
The DuPage Regional Office of Education will provide a wide variety of professional learning options including workshops related to Community and Family Engagement. Specialized programs can also be developed to meet the specific needs of schools and districts.
