While DuPage County is recognized for having one of the finest education systems in the nation, the DuPage Regional Office of Education acknowledges that children come from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Some students arrive ready to learn at advanced levels, while others may require additional support.

Research consistently shows that children who receive education at an early age benefit in several ways, including improved social skills, a reduced need for special education services in later years, higher academic achievement, and greater attention spans. Studies have also found that children enrolled in preschool programs are more likely to graduate from high school, pursue higher education, exhibit fewer behavioral issues, and avoid involvement in criminal activity during adolescence and early adulthood.

For these reasons, the mission of the DuPage Regional Office of Education is to empower families through home visits, educational resources, and unwavering support. We foster strong family bonds and promote healthy development by providing tailored education and compassionate guidance.
