The DuPage Regional Office of Education provides high quality, data-driven, research based professional learning programs and services to educators, parents, students, schools, and districts to enable all students to learn and succeed in school and in life.
The ROE provides four major types of professional learning opportunities that address continuous improvement.
Assists in meeting state and federal requirements.
Examples include Administrators’ Academy courses, assistance in developing school
improvement plans, and Institute Day programs
Ensures that every educator has the knowledge and skills to be effective examples include courses and workshops to enhance educators’ content knowledge and teaching strategies; new teacher, principal and superintendent support through menorting
Provides ongoing, sustained professional development
Examples include networks, training of trainers, and development of professional
learning communities, coaching, along with on-site technical assistance.
Builds long-term processes and structures to ensure continuous improvement.
