DuPage Regional Office of Education Announces 2nd Annual Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Schools

Wheaton, IL, May 30, 2025— The DuPage Regional Office of Education is proud to host its 2nd Annual Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI), titled “Revolutionizing Education: The Role of AI and Technology in Shaping Tomorrow’s Learning,” on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Lake Park High School in Roselle, IL.

This future-focused event invites educators, school leaders, and educational stakeholders to engage in critical conversations about how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies are reshaping the K–12 landscape. Attendees will explore tools, strategies, and practices designed to enhance student learning, promote equity, and prepare young people for a future defined by rapid innovation.

Dr. Vickie Trotter, Assistant Regional Superintendent of DuPage County Schools, agrees that this training is critical. “Our schools are navigating one of the most transformative periods in educational history,” said  Trotter. “It is essential that educators lead the way in learning about, applying, and critically evaluating the role of AI in our classrooms and communities. This conference equips participants with the skills and understanding needed to do just that.”

Robin Lipkowitz, Director of Instructional Technology, emphasized the importance of empowering educators with the right tools and mindset. “As technology evolves at an unprecedented pace, it’s our responsibility to ensure educators feel confident and capable in leveraging AI to support teaching and learning,” said Lipkowitz. “This conference is about more than just tools—it’s about building a culture of curiosity, ethical practice, and innovation in every classroom.”
