The DuPage Regional Office of Education, located in Wheaton, is pleased to announce its availability to be a cohort host site for Illinois teachers wishing to pursue their National Board Certification during the 2020– 2021 school year.

The National Board Resource Center (NBRC) at Illinois State University (ISU) is accepting candidates until October 11, 2020. There is a $75 application fee and once accepted, a subsidy provided by NBRC ISU will cover the cost of the entire certification.

Click here for details on how to apply. Informational meetings will be held at the DuPage ROE this summer for those who have been accepted into the program. Dates will be released once confirmed.

The cohort will meet 12 times during the 2020– 2021 school year. Teachers can earn 24 professional development hours while being led by a National Board Certified Teacher as they complete the National Board components.
